Now available for the first time – The CHOICE E-Collection

The CHOICE E-Collection (CEC) is the first collection of e-books to consist exclusively of titles reviewed by CHOICE.  Available now in beta, the CEC is offered to academic libraries and other interested parties by Publishers Row of Skokie, Illinois.

The ultimate goal of the CEC is to provide libraries with convenient, one-stop shopping for titles reviewed by CHOICE. Currently consisting of several hundred titles spanning the entire liberal arts and sciences curriculum, the CEC will continue to grow in size as publishers participate in the project.  A user-friendly interface features options include searching by title, author, ISBN, or keyword, or browsing the collection by subject area.

The CHOICE eBookStore, hosted by Publishers Row, contains all of the available CEC titles.  Specifically designed for academic libraries, the store offers three different sales models for acquiring CEC titles:

• A traditional purchase or ownership model (with perpetual access)
• Two Patron Driven Acquisition (PDA) models:
• Rent-To-Own
• Rental only
